Home Visit
A hearing test at home will last around one hour. we will conduct a hearing test in your home using state of the art equipment. To start with the health of your ears will be checked, where we will look for any wax build up which may be affecting your ability to hear.

Tympanometry tests how well your eardrum moves. The audiologist will put a small probe, which looks like an earphone, into each ear. A small device attached to the probe will push air into your ear. The person testing you will see a graph on the device, called a tympanogram. All you have to do is sit still.

A pure tone audiometry test measures the softest, or least audible, sound that a person can hear. During the test, you will wear earphones and hear a range of sounds directed to one ear at a time. … Normal hearing range is 250-8,000 Hz at 25 dB or lower.
